Prerequisite: The Art and Science of Donor Development (ASDD)
This highly interactive, application-focused workshop gives development professionals the opportunity to practice and improve their skills in uncovering donors’ personal stories and connecting those life-changing experiences to organizational initiatives. Bringing together the Process for Locating Philanthropic Passion™ and Discovery Meeting concepts with the use of printed promotional materials and actual donor situations, participants gain a deeper knowledge of how to prepare for and drive meaningful conversations with donors through three advanced learning strategies:
1. Practicing techniques themselves and receiving feedback
2. Watching and learning from others
3. Analyzing and discussing workshop experiences with the group
