Implementing Strategies for Donor Development
This four-hour workshop focuses on two key objectives: driving donor development strategy throughout your organization, and applying Nine Navigation Points with real-world donors to create engagement strategies that lead to faster, more meaningful contributions. Participants engage in multiple strategy sessions with their teams, during which they give and receive coaching. Using Advancement Resources’ tools and concepts, participants gain knowledge and skills to design and execute donor development strategies for their organization.
Prerequisite: The Art and Science of Donor Development
Participants are introduced to current trends in philanthropy and gain insight into how donors think about philanthropy today.
Participants review strategic tools introduced in previous workshops.
Nine Navigation Points for Strategy
Working in teams and receiving coaching from the facilitator, participants apply each of the Nine Navigation Points to their real-world donors and potential donors to create more effective and efficient engagement strategies.
