Marketing Content Coordinator

The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple teams to help drive a cohesive marketing strategy. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to balance several tasks, flexibility, and a professional demeanor are required.

While this team member might get to work on many things at Advancement Resources, he/she will be instrumental in executing overall marketing campaigns, creating graphics for marketing and sales materials, and coordinating conference/tradeshow logistics and strategy. This person will work closely with our Vice President of Marketing whose goal is to build lead generation strategies and communicate our offerings to national and international academic, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. To achieve this goal, this person will:

  • Understand the company’s goals and priorities, including our clients, markets, services, and overall culture
  • Create promotional materials including newsletters, emails, and conference pieces utilizing Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Perform website updates (built on WordPress)
  • Possess and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Provide support for all business functions as necessary recognizing that in a small entrepreneurial company many additional duties and responsibilities are shared
  • Have the opportunity to travel to workshops or conferences as assigned. This requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs., and a passport (or ability to obtain)

In addition to being an amazing member of the Marketing team, this person will need to fit into the entire company’s unique culture. The characteristics for both require the following:

  • 3–5 years marketing communications experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design preferred)
  • Experience editing in WordPress
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, teamwork, and genuine concern for others
  • Natural likeability, particularly able to function well in fast-paced environments
  • Internally/Intrinsically motivated
  • Willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities as the business evolves
  • Professional demeanor that aligns well with standard business attire
  • Willing and eager to grow professionally
