Participants explore the predictable processes that donors follow as they build commitment to organizational projects and programs that results in philanthropy. Emphasis is on preparing participants to respond effectively to these processes.

Crafting Your Compelling Vision Story and Specific Philanthropic Opportunities
Utilizing their own funding priorities, participants begin crafting Vision Stories and Philanthropic Opportunities that compel deep and lasting commitment from donors.

Who is Responsible for Development?
Participants identify key roles in development for organizational leaders.

Securing Financial Commitment
Participants explore concepts, processes, and tools for “Making the Ask,” including Strategic Elements of Successful Solicitation

Creating Meaningful Return on Philanthropic Investment
Participants discover how organizational leaders can help create a Return On Philanthropic Investment (ROPI) that ensures donors feel appreciated and valued and sets the stage for future contributions.
