Analyzing different delivery styles, participants explore how to present the vision as a compelling Opportunity Story to different situations and audiences.

Participants discover concepts that turn “asks” into gains and strengthen donors’ emotional commitment and financial support. Participants practice making the “ask” while considering a donor or potential donor.

Creating Meaningful Return on Philanthropic Investment

Participants learn how to create Return on Philanthropic Investment (ROPI) that ensures donors feel appreciated and valued, setting the stage for deeper donor commitment and greater philanthropic support.

The workshop begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends around 5:00 p.m.

A continental breakfast (beginning at 7:30 a.m.) and lunch, as well as all workshop materials, are included in the workshop investment. The evening is free for donor visits or other business or personal matters.

Driving Directions from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
From Sea-Tac Airport, get on WA-518 E from Airport Expressway. From WA-518 E, take the exit for I-5 N and travel north on I-5 for 12.4 miles. Take the Seneca Street exit #165. The exit will be on the left. Turn right on 6th Ave and proceed north for six blocks. Cross over Stewart Street. The hotel will be on the left—1900 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.

Parking

Off-site parking fee is available for $9 USD daily. On-site self-parking fee is available for $50 USD daily. On-site valet parking is available for $60 USD daily. Self/valet parking are offered in adjacent garage with hourly/daily rates. Overnight rates include in/out privileges.
